XNU05SM1The 18V LXT 18″ Telescoping Articulating Pole Hedge Trimmer features a Makita-built motor that delivers up to 3,600 SPM for faster cutting with an 18-1/2″ dual-action double-sided shear blade. It has 10 angle settings with 135° of working range, making it very efficient at trimming overhead and at ground level for low lying hedges. The telescoping shaft easily adjusts from a length of six to eight feet to allow access to taller hedges or to trim underneath a hedge without stooping down. It weighs up to 60% less than gas models and features a soft-grip handle for increased user comfort. It is also engineered with Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved resistance to dust and water when used outdoors.It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
