I bought this to replace my battery Ryobi reciprocating saw that has served me well several years. I was in the midst of cutting back some evergreens when I overtaxed it. Been happy with Ryobi so I thought I should step up the performance capability for the project. I compared the weight of this versus other corded saws and thought them comparable. This was at the lower end of the pricing, another positive. This powered right through the trunks without effort. I would highly recommend this unit, without hesitation.
