This pole saw exceeded my expectations. Mind you I’ve only used it one day and I’ll update the review if things change, but this thing easily handled an afternoon of cutting branches from my wooded lot up to I’d say 4 inch branches quickly and with no problem. The chain does loosen up periodically like others have said, but it’s very easy to use the included tool to re-adjust. The convenience and speed of cut makes this easy to overlook. It also goes through the chain oil, but that’s not much a bad thing considering I lost count of the number of branches and small trees I cut using it. What blew me away though was that it only went through 1/2 a 6AH battery. I was guessing it would go through the battery pretty quick, but luckily for the remaining small trees I got tired of cutting before the battery could have a chance to be used up.
