Minus the useless low speed mode this things okay. Do this $0.02 mod for more boost Battery life not great but good Merica

This leaf blower is very nice. I have a 4 stroke gas unit that I compare it to. This Ryobi is much quieter at under 68 dBa compared to 98 dBa for the gas unit. They both put out about the same 20 mph wind at 6 feet away with ratings of 450 cubic feet per minute Ryobi and 425 for my gas unit. This battery powered unit weighs about 7 1/2 pounds compared to over 14 lbs for the gas unit. The brushless motor should last and the 3 year warranty beats my gas unit. My only negative is the run-time versus charge time. With the supplied 4 amp hour battery, the run time is about 16 minutes on normal, non-turbo mode. It then takes several hours to recharge for 16 more minutes. My task usually is about 45 minutes so I need more, bigger batteries which cost more than the blower. If you have a deck or small yard that needs a quick blow cleaning, this is really nice. It has a trigger lock so you can trade hands without turning off and a spare concentrator nozzle to increase the wind velocity from about 110 to 120 or 130 miles per hour.
