I had a 20 year old Craftsman Circular Saw but the blade would not spin true. I needed to cut a 1″ slice from a 24″ by 1″ thick slab of Silestone and it had to be accurate so I decided on the Rigid R32051 based on others’ reviews. I was impressed with the quality of the controls for making precise adjustments and how easy the controls were to use. The cut came out perfect and I was amazed at how easy it was. I had used my Craftsman to cut a 1/2″ piece of Silestone previously with the same Diamond blade and it was much more effort. The guide made it very easy to get a precise cut and since most of my work is for long cuts (trimming down doors and panels around the home), this is very important to me.
