    Awesome construction and durability for a product. I am glad I bought 2 of these. So much better than the original one that came with the vacuum and more versatile to work with sanders and other tools.

    This is the hose that Ridgid should have included with the original purchase of the shop vac! The original black hose was, more and more, starting to kink when you pulled the vac around an obstruction or changed the angle of the attachment to the floor. The new hose is much more flexible than the original, and it’s longer (10 ft.) and is smoother inside so it has better airflow. The adapters that come with the hose let you use it with the smaller vacs as well as the larger vacs with 2 1/2 inch hose. I’m currently using the new hose on a 4-gallon vac that gets used for general household cleanup and I plan to buy another to replace the black hose on the 12-gallon vac I use in the wood shop. This more than met my expectations. I’d recommend this to anyone who owns a Ridgid vac!
