The Makita 18-Volt LXT Brushless Cordless 1/2 Mixer is a cordless solution ideal for mixing drywall mud, plaster, drilling large holes and much more. The variable speed trigger allows the user to adjust the speed to 0 RPM to 3560 RPM or 0 RPM to 1300 RPM for optimum speed control for the material or application. A soft start suppresses start-up reaction for more control and better accuracy. For added durability in harsh job site conditions, Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered for improved dust and water resistance and a protective cover helps prevent battery contamination from mixing compound splash back. Its part of Makitas expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion system, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls.
