I am a 5′, 97lb, 62 yr old woman. I bought this to cut down 5′ tall pine trees taking over my field. They were too big in diameter for my loppers. In 45 minutes I cut down 28 of them. The best part was that I could cut them close enough to the ground that my lawnmower could go over the stumps without poking the tires or hitting the blades. I have also cut down many scrub trees with trunks @ 4″ in diameter. I bought blades for pruning wood. And, I ran out of energy before the battery did. Love my Makita power tools.
