I love the way the set looks, but an very concerned about the rough, unfinished bottoms. I actually nail-polished the bottoms in the hope that they will stop the dishes from scratching my table. Not happy about having to do that. Fast forward a year….. I did paint the bottoms with clear nail polish and it was well worth the effort. Now, a year later, they are still smooth on the bottom and we love them 🙂
