Mostly preassembled. Fantastic saw with multiple options! It is much heavier than my 42 yr old craftsman! I highly recommend this saw and I definitely recommend the DeWalt saw stand to use with it

Awesome saw, especially when I saved a couple hundred dollars over the same 1 with the “light guide”. Pair it with the stand and you will not regret. 1 year later and it still works like I just opened it. Remember to buy a combination square and a magnetic digital angle finder for zeroed in cuts but mostly accurate out of the box.

I did a lot of research before getting this saw. When you remove it from the box you first realize its heavy. Everything seems well made and solid. After setting it up I checked settings. The only thing I found, when set at 45 degree right, it was just maybe a hair off. This was easy to fix. I make custom Urns and my work must be perfect. This is going to be a nice addition to my tools. I will add the light for this from M&M Tools.

Nice saw, Except whomever assembled the saw, tightened the blade screw so tight that they screwed up the hex screw receiver, making it nearly impossible to remove. So I would like a replacement screw to fix the problem. It will just get worse as times go by when changing out the saw blades.
