The DeckMate Hidden Fastener is engineered to deliver a simple and strong way to hide fasteners in grooved boards like Trex, Fiberon, Veranda and more. The 12-clip collated strips speed up installation, eliminating the need to fumble around with loose fasteners, and the stainless steel screws provide a strong connection guaranteed to last for the life of the project, while the DeckMate clips conceal and protect the joists. To install, simply position the clip inside the board, drive the stainless steel screw, then tear away the strip. Repeat this at every joist the board passes over, then slide the next board into place. Finish the connection by tightening each fastener to secure the decking.
