EASY TO USE! — Simple Application Table on Package… EXPAND COMPRESSED SOIL: Add water evenly at a 1:1 ratio to compressed soil — Compressed soil will expand up to 4X… Use 1 teaspoon for small seed, 1 tablespoon for large seed, 1/4 cup per seedling, 1 cup per small plant, 4 cups per gallon size plant. USE STRAIGHT OR BLEND: Use expanded soil straight — Or mix and blend with other soil at up to a 1:2 expanded soil to other soil ratio… ENJOY YOUR SOIL: Prevents over-watering when used in pots, planters and containers with drainage — Easily re-wets and stays moist 3X longer than average soils… TO USE AS MULCH & TOP DRESS: Apply 1/4 inch expanded soil to existing soil — Or slightly cover existing soil with compressed soil, then water (don’t expand compressed soil prior to spreading with a mechanical spreader)… 2 lb bag treats up to 20 square feet as mulch or top dress.
