There is fully finished laminate on top and on the underside to prevent warping.

Wood laminate is scratch, dent and water-resistant, so it will look good for years to come. This table is easy to set up and break down and features a gravity leg-locking mechanism. When you fold it, it locks for easy transport and storage. The 1″ diameter, steel legs have plastic foot caps to protect your floors from scuffs and scrapes. This table is extremely sturdy and can hold up to 1,200 lbs of evenly distributed weight.
