Our Canadian organic wild rice, soup grade, is harvested from pristine, wilderness lakes in the pre-cambrian shield of northern Canada. The only ingredient is wild rice. No preservatives, salt, or other rices added. Our Canadian wild rice is certified organic. Soup grade wild rice includes broken, partial, and whole kernels of rice. It has the same great flavor and nutrition as our higher grade wild rice and is delicious on its own or makes a great addition to soups, casseroles, stuffings, and other gourmet dishes. Use 1 cup (about 0.4 pounds) of uncooked wild rice to make 4 generous portions. Used for soups, stews, and casseroles, as well as side dishes, stuffing, entrees, and salads.
