   Very sturdy
   The latches are very effective at keeping the lid on the container. The container itself is very sturdy, and the latches are strong enough to keep the lid secure and the contents safely inside. I use it for holding spices in my cupboard, and I have dropped it numerous times and the lid stayed in place and the container was not damaged in any way. I routinely stack things on top of this container and I have no concerns with the ability of the container to support a substantial amount of weight being put on top of it. I am very satisfied with this purchase and purchased one the larger sizes to use in my linen closet
