This is a great air hose. It would also be better to call it an anit-kinking hose based on the way its made. I have two other hoses that I worry may kink, but not this one. The braiding on the outside of the actual hose looks like it will let the hose lay flat and not kink while dragging the hose around the shop. Now to see how it does when the weather gets cold.

The Ridgid ¼ in 50 ft. Lay Flat Air Hose is an amazing piece of engineering. The design from tip to tip is very different than the standard air hoses on the market. Ridgid has spent a lot of time listening to the users of their products and applied them to this air hose. Both ends sport 360-degree spindles that keep the hose from coiling and knotting up. Both ends have guards that keep the hose from kinking and working in conjunction with the swivels keep the hose lying flat on the floor. The hose makeup is such that it won’t catch on objects in your shop and the fabric design makes for a no marring and lightweight product. i highly recommend this product as a great addition to anyone’s shop
