The Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 Starter Kit delivers up to 2.5X more runtime, 20% more power and 2X more recharges than standard lithium-ion batteries. The lithium-ion battery pack features superior pack construction, electronics, and performance providing users more work per charge and more work over pack life than any battery on the market. Each battery pack is durably built for heavy-duty use, runs cooler, and performs in climates below 0 degree F/minus 18 degree C. I was hesitant to buy this because of the bad reviews about the battery, but I have had no problem with the battery or the impact so far. I am an auto mechanic and in my opinion for a 3/8 it has a lot of torque. Would strongly recommend.

I am blown away by all the new Milwaukee tools and setups. The M12 and M18 line up is way ahead of the competition including snap on. This charging setup is extremely quick, the battery lasts forever. I am a heavy diesel mechanic and use these tools and battery’s ALL day and they just don’t quit. For the price you can’t beat this package. Well worth it

I purchased a combo set for Milwaukee and this was included. The Milwaukee 90-degree impact set is phenomenal and I use it every day at work and at home. The battery and charger are excellent only drawback is the humming noise the charger makes. I would recommend this to anyone!
