This little cut off tool is great. I build Tuff Sheds, and on every building the gable trim needs to be cut to fit properly in addition to the door trim. I have used my M18 rear handle circular saw, my super sawzall, angle grinder and have also used my Japanese pull saw. These options all work but none can be carried in my toolbelt. I wasnt sure if the small 3″ wheel would cut all the thru the 7/16″ trim, or how well the carbide tipped saw blade would do in wood, but found out that this tool was made for this job! It fits in my toolbelt, is light weight, using a 6 ah battery it will handle an entire building and the carbide tipped saw blade makes the cleanest cut, right up there with my Japanese saw. I’ve also used it to trim down an overlength threshold, cut a lock off of my storage unit, and to cut nails that missed the studs on these sheds. I’m seriously impressed by this little tool. Ive got about 35 M18 tools, 12 batteries, 4 chargers, but this was my first M12 tool. I’ve since bought the impact, drill, and ratchet. for the right applications these tools are awesome.
