How the HALO Wi-Fi Lock Works

Using the Kwikset App, you can lock or unlock your deadbolt from your smart phone.

Wi-Fi
Between your smart phone and the smart lock, WiFi allows you to execute commands from the Kwikset app. The command sent by your phone is communicated to the HALO smart lock via WiFi.

HALO Smart Lock
Kwikset’s HALO smart lock responds to your command. Confirmation of a successful lock or unlock is sent back to your smart phone.
