It also inhibits corrosion, particularly iron, steel, galvanized, copper, and lead, by coating the surface of your pipes
Coating serves as a protective layer that makes it harder for bio-film to form, it also helps to stabilize chlorine as the chlorine will not react with the metal pipe if the coating exists, this water filter has a capacity of 250,000 Gal. of water filtration
