Sanitize Pool Weekly for Clear and Clean Water
Kills Algae and Bacteria
The all-in-1 action also kills bacteria and algae, clarifies and softens pool water, prevents stain and scale and provides a filter aid for the ultimate convenience in DIY pool care.
Clear Water in 24 Hours
Traditional chlorine products contain cyanuric acid (CYA). When too much CYA builds up, it can cause overstabilization or chlorine lock, cloud your water and cause algae growth.
Formulated to Prevent Chlorine Loss
The Cal Hypo based formula in HTH Chlorine Granules Ultra provides chlorination without adding extra CYA for beautifully clear water all season.
How to Use HTH Super 3 inch Chlorinating Tablets
1. Test and Balance pH Levels
First, make sure the pH of the water is
balanced. If the pH is too high or too
low, the chlorine sanitizer won’t work as
effectively. The ideal pH range is
between 7.2 and 7.8.
2. Proper Sanitization Requires Circulation
While the filter pump is running during the evening, use a clean, dry scoop to apply chlorine granules evenly over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool.
3. Apply to Feeder, Floater or Skimmer
Place one tablet in pool feeder, floater or skimmer per 10,000 gallons of water every week or as often as needed to maintain a chlorine residual of 1-4 ppm. Do not add directly to the pool as this can cause damage to pool surfaces.
