Each of our heaters are ETL listed meaning that they are tested to the same standards as UL and their certification has the same recognition by OHSA since they are both nationally recognized testing laboratories. It also has built in overheat protection. This means that if an obstruction covers the grill and the inside temperature gets too hot, It automatically shuts off power to the unit.
