Unlocking Hose Reel & How to Retract
To engage the automatic hose recoil, give the hose a short sharp pull(approximate 2-4 in) and you will feel the hose automatically retract. You can interrupt this process by pulling the hose again.
Dealing with Tangles Inside The Reel
- Extend the hose to its full length and then permit it to retract smoothly as you walk it back to the hose reel housing . This will allow the self-layering mechanism to layer the hose correctly into the reel.
- WARNING: When the hose is extended to such a length that the warning indicator can be seen (approx. 3.3 ft from the end of the hose), do not pull the hose with any excessive force as this can damage the internal connection to the reel.
Solutions for Leaks at The Interface
