Hydrants are intended for irrigation purposes and used for filling field spray equipment, cleaning tools and equipment, lawn and garden care, watering livestock, immediate water flow, even in sub zero temperatures. The 4 ft. Bury Depth Frost-Proof Yard Hydrant from Everbilt features galvanized steel pipe construction for reliable irrigation in even the coldest climates. No digging is required for repair work.
- Self-draining when handle is in closed position to prevent freezing
- Heavy duty cast iron head with bucket hook
- Extra-large cast iron handle for easy operation
- Brass clevis rod and hose connector
- Double o-ring sealing system provides a positive seal
- 1-piece plunger design provides a positive seal and easy adjustment
- Plunger is easily adjustable with square head set screw
- Bury depth of 48 in., total length 75 in., meaning 27 in. will be above ground
- Yard hydrant complies with federal lead laws
- Normal operating pressure should be 20 to 60 psi, max 120 psi
