The DEWALT DWS713 10 in. Compound Miter Saw has a 15 Amp motor to drive 5,000 RPM, delivering extended power and durability. This 10-in miter saw features a stainless steel miter detent plate and miter lock knob with detent latch. This allows the miter saw to deliver repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. Tall sliding fences support 4-1/2 in. of crown molding vertically nested. Its lightweight design and built-in carry handle help make this a portable miter saw you can easily move around the jobsite. This 10-in compound miter saw is backed by DEWALT 3-year limited warranty for your additional peace of mind

    When i first baught this Miter Saw, I was contemplating on which i should get and out of all the workers around that area walked past me, there was this gentleman named Paul who works at the Store. He was a tremendous help on finding the right one for me without trying to sell me a higher price miter. Im glad i got it because i made a table for my miter saw and a table to do more work.

    The DeWalt 10 inch, 15 amp compound miter saw is an outstanding miter saw. It’s easy to use and makes awesome precise cuts. It’s durable and safe. The safety features made this saw the saw of choice of my wife. She is new to woodworking and was Leary of using a saw. She’s almost a pro now and feels right at home with using this saw.

    The first saw I bought did not have a functioning miter lock. At the factory, they installed a nut for the miter lock knob that had not yet been tapped! This meant the knob could not be screwed in and therefore could not lock on a non-detent miter angle. Unacceptable, if you ask me, but I returned it (w/o box or receipt!) and bought a new one. Once exchanged, the saw functions perfectly, with acceptable accuracy of both miter and bevel right out of the box.

    Out of the box, plug in and get to accurate cuts in no time! Changing out the blade is a cinch. Just follow the directions. Great product!

    This is my second 10″ Dewalt. Renovated 2 homes, gave my first to my son. New Dewalt New project on my 3rd home (addition). Always cleaned after use and stored covered. Reliability a plus, Blade Change a snap. I like the lock-in for miteres. Base is well constructed compared to my first Dewalt. Light weight / easy to carry.
