   I wasn’t looking for this but when I saw it I realized I needed it. I like to off-road and this kit is perfect because the case is strong and because the tools are encased in foam I don’t hear them rattling as I roll down the trail. The foam inserts also help me stay organized better than the cluttered tool bag I used to use. There is a lot of extra foam under the tools so I plan on cutting it out to fit other tools in the case. The sturdy case is perfect for storing in my vehicle because it can easily handle other heavy items that may be stacked on it in the back of my truck.

   This kit has every socket you’ll need as well as a nut driver with lots of bit adaptors. You can keep the foam holders in the storage bins or remove and keep them separate in the large case – allowing for additional storage in the bins, which have dividers as shown in my photo. Case is waterproof, portable, and rugged. I’m a fan.

   Ok, first things first, this new tough system 2.0 storage box is fantasic. It’s probably my favorite thing about this tool set. I don’t have any of the other storage boxes that this is desgined to clip onto, but seems like it would connect to another case very easily and that it would be very sturdy. As for the tools themselves, everything has been working great. The wrench clicks with very small movements, which is nice in tight spaces. The numbers are easy to read on the sockets. Not much else to say about the tools themselves, they work. If had to find something minor to complain about, it would be that foam inserts won’t fit into the smaller boxes with the dividers in, but this isnt a very big deal for me. The foam inserts are a really nice touch for this price point. This is a great starter mechanics tool set and should get you through most projects. I would highly recommend this set, heck, the box itself was worth buying this set, its definitely my favorite part and I look forward to buying more of these tough system 2.0 boxes to connect them together
