   I purchased the 6 1/2” cordless circular saw for demonstration purposes in my classroom, it arrived during spring break and since we haven’t been back in the classroom/shop because of the coronavirus pandemic it was in my truck. This past weekend I was helping remodel my parents bathroom and I stead of dragging around extension cords I remembered I had the cordless saw. It was a lifesaver! I used it all weekend, cutting 12mm pergo, 3/4” plywood, 2X4” studs, and various trim pieces. I charged the battery once and it lasted all weekend. I dread having to give up the saw, as well as the other cordless dewalt tools I purchased for my classroom when we return in the fall. Absolutely awesome products. I was leery of a cordless circular saw, but I’m sold now!!

   I have had this saw for about a year now love it awesome saw nice and light weight and very durable ido a lot of framing build a lot of decks and I use this saw over a corded saw I use the 8 amp batterys and they work great with it awesome run time just got done framing a 24×40 deck and only went through 2 8 amp batterys if your looking for a great saw at a very good price this is the saw for you

   Like all tool guys on the net say, never buy “just a tool” always wait for the sales and bundle things. I bought this back in April when HD had the Milwaukee and Dewalt sale. It took 2 weeks for the kit to come in, but hey, it is the apocalypse at the moment. I used the HD Credit card which gave me 50 dollars off of 300 bringing my total on this kit down to 300 dollars. Doing the math and counting all 7 pieces in the kit (batteries/charger incl in the 7) this brings my per piece price down to 43 dollars a tool. I dont see how one could wrong with that. Always wait for the sales and bundles. This kit is a very good buy when on sale.

   I bought the Dewalt 7 piece set and it hasn’t disappointed. Everyone kept telling to purchase the milwaukie but I stuck with my gut. I have not had one problem with any of my tools. I initially bought the set to remodel my house and now I am a licensed General Contractor. Awesome tools and not just for contractors but for everyone. Thank you dewalt for awesome products.

   I love this saw and loved adding it to my collection. Cutting the cord couldn’t be better whether building a deck or vinyl siding,the batteries don’t quit. I couldn’t recommend this tool more
