   I’m new to battery operated pole saw and i simply love it. I have used it about 10 different times since I received the pair about 6 weeks ago. I cut a lot of branches from the cedars around our new house. It is very easy to connect, lasted a long time, and I could charge it on a charger I already had when i purchased a circular saw many years ago. It is heavier than I thought it would be, but it makes sense and is not a problem. And i got the pair on sale, so i am very happy.

   This DeWalt 20 volt Max battery pack is really great for the “big jobs”. This 5 amp hour (ah) batteru really works well in my Circular Saw and Impact Driver for heavy duty use…cutting framing lumber and plywood and installing lag bolts. It hold up to a good 1/2 day of fairly heavy use in these tools. It has a nice charge indicator light to let you know the charge left. I usually just charge it up during lunch time and then work the rest of the day. It has a number of other features like “no memory and virtually no self discharge”. It’s very light weight compared to my old 18 volt batteries at 1.4 lbs. It also comes with a 3 year FREE service contract. This is a great battery for the PRO and serious DIYer.
