   Love the Annies brand and I feel better buying their products when ot fits into my budget than some of the more affordable store brands. For little kids, to me less additives is always better. I cant always justify spending the extra but the price for ordering these in a 12 pack was great and with 3 kiddos we go through our fair share. Two small things that stand out are 1) thes cheese powder tends to clump up so even after lots of stirring we always have some little cheese clumps in the mac which isnt a deal breaker. 2) the noodles are smaller and it gives a different texture than one might be used to for macaroni and cheese. Not bad, just different- that said these noodles are perfect for little fingers and young kiddos who are learning to self feed or dont have all their teeth amd chewing down yet. If this was consistently priced the same as the other brands we buy. I would choose this one every time. Instead I stock up on sales, combine it with my Subscribe and save additional discount and fill in the gaps in between with our local store brand

   New recipe update: I’m keeping the stars the same. The stuff cooks the same (we’ve always boiled ours for 11-12 minutes) and I realized that I’m supposed to dissolve the milk, cheese, and butter together before adding the pasta back in, so now it is smoother. I was very hesitant about giving the new recipe to my son because he has probably consumed hundreds of boxes of the stuff.

   So, everything mixed evenly. It tasted almost exactly the same. The pasta was even softer. Only thing I didn’t like was the color change. It’s a deeper orange and my kiddo noticed, but he took a bite and approved. I mentioned nothing about it being “yummier.” We often dissolve a slice of mild cheddar cheese into ours as well, so that stayed the same. We still recommend and love it, but would love the color toned down.

   Old formula reviews: Oh Annie’s pink box pasta. Little did I know when I became a parent I would be fixing a box of this 4-5 times a week. We add a little butter and milk and it’s my 6 year old son’s absolute favorite. He can eat an entire pot of this stuff by himself sometimes.

   My son has sensory processing issues, so we don’t have a lot of foods he will eat. This has been a staple for years now. Maybe going on 4? Don’t ever change.

   As for me, it’s hard to get the mix completely dissolved. My son nor toddler daughter care and gobble it down. My son makes me turn the pot upside down to make sure every last bit is out. And it’s organic enough that it’s okay to have daily right? 🙂

   I love Annies Aged White Ceddar shells! It is the best mac and cheese from a box! Way better than Kraft. I don’t like the other flavors of Annie’s though. There classic mac & cheese is not good. But this one and the yellow aged cheddar shells are very good! 10/10 recommend! And I bought these off Amazon (was a little worried because of other reviews), but mine were fine, came plastic wrapped in a box of 12, and tasted just like store bought.
