I wanted this thing when it first came out. That one only was able to cut at a single angle on the pivot. This one can cut both sides and I feel like it’s so much better than what I was expecting. Very quiet cuts really well very straight cuts that was one thing I was very surprised about. I really do like it and I have it attached to the wall in my van compact enough to do what I need to do. I already have a 12-in miter saw and bringing that along everywhere just to cut small little pieces is a pain. Having this compact miter saw battery pack is perfect for all the little jobs that I do. And if I need to do a big job I still have my 12-in miter saw. Honestly though I was able to cut a 4×4 post no problem and couldn’t believe that I was even able to cut a 6×6 post I had to spend it around on all four sides but it did cut. One thing I do have to say that was one issue. The little sticker that allows you to get the degrees came off. But I called up Bridget and they sent me out another one for free. Wasn’t too much of a big deal.

This is a great saw. Battery runtime is good with a 6ah.

This is a light-weight option for light duty work. Easy to move around and makes for quick fixes. Not your all-construction saw but if you understand its limits, this is a great addition to your stable to make the light construction jobs easier and quicker. Perfect for trimming and light framing.

This is one fine tool!. Quality of build is top of the line. Little details like the depth gauge was a nice extra for dado cuts. Light weight and easy to transport.
