Dont follow directions. Struggled for ages trying to get screw in..put the large washer (black on the chair) then large silver washer on the screw then that small ring (directions state put the ring on first then washer on screw..it won’t work if u do). I put it on second and it worked perfect. Love the chair..Works perfect in my space (camper) and being white compliments the other white counters in the camper. Understood the comments about it not being very sturdy. What the heck are they planning on doing with the chair?? Its perfectly fine. Don’t worry.

This chair was super easy to put together and goes great with my daughters new room! I do agree with other reviews about the back being flimsy, but for normal sitting at a desk I think it will work.
